Good question, and it is really easy to get the sizes mixed up in Crocs.

When you look at the sole unit on the crocs shoe it will always be the American Size, so this will be M4/W6. This is how CROCS manufacture their product.

The M denotes a man's shoe size the W denotes a ladies shoe size.
